Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Baker born in the past three hundred years. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Valanthe was born with her father's beautiful face. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
