History: Born to a Healer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Cumpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cumpen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cumpen. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She tends to her Barber job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Serpent never married again.
