Unvera liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
