Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. History: Howard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.

She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She got into the Merchant business at a young age. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has worked as a Merchant like her father before her.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Quilla embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Quilla was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She bought a bastard sword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by his family
