A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Râsh learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 41. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Joan studied abroad. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Joan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulblyn embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the south. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Ulblyn and his spouse have recently divorced.
