History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nikki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Shipwright job and began his own company from there.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Birel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Rinn lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Fletcher, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born into a rich family. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. Lorm was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members.
