History: Duergath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
