History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. She tends to her Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Seven learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Traubon's homeland. Traubon decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
