History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after River was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. River's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Hugh is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barkeep arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

History: Balam was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
