He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Leaf hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Leaf was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.
