History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Merla was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Apothecary. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
