Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Portia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: Born to a Servant, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Katherine took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor she uses now. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Windy fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
