Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shipwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. Aasathra is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother
