History: Mary hails from a village terrorized by orcs. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Pearl reached her early adolescence her Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Pearl was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

River was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter.
