History: He was born in a small plains village. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sellsword. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she feels threatened by others

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Seamstress born in the past three hundred years. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Laucian's homeland. Laucian decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Map Maker. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing poetry.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.
