Description: 5'4" and muscular, this northern woman tends to wear a yellow poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Matilda was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Matilda took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up crossbow and armor she uses now. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a pastel feathered hat and pastel clothes. His fur is orange and curly. His hazel eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: An older man who wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a grey coat, he is not a threatening figure. His head has been shaved. His blue eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Trym was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Trym abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Description: An older man who wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has gray eyes.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. Skog was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Skog decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Barakas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Tethren was raised in a hard working conservative environment. After coming to the age of reason, Tethren took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

He has dyed his greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
