Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Kathra hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Kathra was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kathra decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a Guard, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Zaffrab will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
