Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Merla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Merla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
