Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born in a small desert village. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Balam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Balam was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
