The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Orthog grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to reunite with his old friends

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her childhood dream was to be a Engraver, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Engraver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly falchions and axes. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has amber eyes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lance grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He tends to his Server job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alston is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp.
