He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His head has been shaved. His blue eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 55. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Being a Navigator kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Sybil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ahinar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she is greedy

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barrister who has hired her part-time. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Williamina lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Hunter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she wants to get laid

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He got into the Knight business at a young age. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
