As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Qualen was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Qualen took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
