Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
