Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Heward is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Dara was born the youngest of three triplets. After coming to the age of reason, Dara took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She became a Guard soon after.

History: Gifted from a young age, Smoking studied abroad. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
