Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Thervan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: This woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her red crest is heavily combed to the right. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gold eyes.
Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Tiefling culture. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: Uadjit hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Uadjit and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

Description: An older man who wears baggy brown pantaloons and a grey scarf, he is not a threatening figure. His brown fur is braided into rings. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Leaf was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and revenge

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Armara was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Armara fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears an entirely brown suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His white fur is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gale was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gale took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he desires power and/or immortality
