History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She has never given up on her painting dream.

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Quilla hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
