History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Nykkan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ratak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Butcher job and began his own company from there.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sellsword. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
