Description: He has a missing right leg. He sports grey clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He feeds upon the attention of others.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Tim reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has worked as a Bather like her mother before her.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mercenary. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment and is in decent physical shape. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and retire the richest man in the west
