Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pirithin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: She stands about 5'5" and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. She has dyed her greying chestnut hair a little too much giving a sharp chestnut color. Her black eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears just a black suit. His red hair is lengthy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Valafar was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Orc in existence. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Latbag took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and wants her loneliness to end

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: Osco was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Halfling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
