Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears a white vest and prefers red and blue shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her hair is chestnut and curly. Her eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.
History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family.

She tends to wear a tan poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, and her gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. She has dyed her greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Antinua was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and regain custody of her daughter

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Description: She wears a white vest and prefers blue and grey shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. She has shaved her head bald. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Fistula hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Fistula was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears yellow leather gloves, a yellow jacket, and tight pants. His black hair is cut short. He has blue eyes and a yellow hat with a white feather.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Ralf reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. His green eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker red hat.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for him, and Osco does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Osco was born with his mother's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Halfling Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He wears dull black sweaters, loose pastel pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed morningstar, just in case. He carries with him a set of morningstars, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has wavy black hair. He has black eyes.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Zepar liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ploughman for the past few years.

Description: With violet face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is dressed in earthy colors with a white and pastel handkerchief worn on his right side. He has a very tight haircut. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Chay embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: He was born in a small forest village. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He bought a sword and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
