Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He wears his white hair down. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Oskar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Oskar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Oskar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Oskar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Born to a Tailor, his father struggled to pay the bills. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Georgina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Andry was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
