History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Through the years after Elegant was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Elegant's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fragrant grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fragrant grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fragrant. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Burana fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
