Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Balam lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Einkil hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Einkil alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to work out more often

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tailor. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. He found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Tordrid hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Tordrid was taken on many hunting expeditions. Tordrid liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Serpent was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sculptor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
