History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age his father died while driving off some giants. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Diesa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Diesa's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Banker and was forced into it by her family; and she is content

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and balancing her hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he wants revenge against giants

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
