History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Birel was born on a far western forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Baker. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Through the years after Rathkran was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rathkran's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has all her life been fascinated with poetry.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: She was born into a rich family. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Neega took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered gnolls who tried to eat his hand. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Zook hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
