History: He comes from a rich southern family. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Guard, her mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
