Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Howard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Howard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Ida was taken on many hunting expeditions. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Ida has worked very hard to control her curse. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ida fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thervan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
