Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pikar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Nelkin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
