History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Fax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Fax took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has achieved small success as a Masseuse.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is content; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in.
