Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. Emmeline enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Emmeline was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Emmeline's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears skinny pants and wears a green and brown robe with the hood down, and is pretty ugly. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes are red.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Oriax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he's looking for his big break

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She became a Layabout soon after.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trym was born with her father's beautiful face. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trym grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trym. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
