Description: He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft brown waves gently in the breeze. He is portly but not overly obese. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.
History: Erias was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She wears a green Stetson hat and green clothes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'0" when asserting herself. Her blue hair is greasy and uncared for. Her red eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Description: He has a missing left arm. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are amber and catlike.
Personality: Kilvar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Kilvar took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. He bought a sai and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across
History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Blossom was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Blossom decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.
History: Naal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Wrenn was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has achieved small success as a Spy.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Alvyn was born with his mother's beautiful face. When Alvyn reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.
