Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears tattered old clothes. His hair is cut close to his head. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elaim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Elaim and his spouse have recently divorced.

She prefers to carry a nunchaku, but if one is not available she will default to her flail, and she perpetually has her flail ready. Her brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.
Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Hadwisa was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hadwisa decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hadwisa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.
History: Hamil was born the youngest of three triplets. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

She keeps her white hair in a flapper bob. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. While she appears to be a normal Half-Orc, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
Motivation: She's attracted to the PC.
