Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.
History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Tana was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tana decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture
