History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Akta grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Akta. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Armorer for hire.

Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting orcs, the young Pyntle began to lead the lost caravan.
