Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Gifted from a young age, River studied abroad. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Drusilia has worked very hard to control her curse. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
