Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his sister

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Weaver business.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Donaar was born with his mother's beautiful face. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barber, and he later adopted a second daughter.
