History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. Sailor work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His first spouse was a Ruler, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Druid who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Emerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Emerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
