Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Howard embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Howard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a brown shirt with thin pastel vertical stripes and white pants, marred by beers. He has moderate length red hair. His blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Peter isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. During his travels, Peter and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Peter discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Peter fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and is pretty ugly. His silver hair is lengthy. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: He stands about 5'3" and is wearing a long, pastel, dusty cloak. His left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Scribe profession.

History: The child of a Scribe, who enjoyed hunting, Edge was taken on many hunting expeditions. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Edge took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. He has amber eyes and a red hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ozyman is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Ozyman was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ozyman's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ozyman and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her first spouse was a Mortician, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Blacksmith, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he would like to get married and retire
