History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. Being a Weaver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
