History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Shifting does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Shifting and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Fallthra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fallthra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
